There is always a perspective that allows you to move forward, even when you feel stuck.

‘Man skal fylde sin plads’

I draw inspiration from what was a regularly recurring statement in our home. It came from my Danish grandmother, who again borrowed it from her mother-in-law. “Man skal fylde sin plads” – It is up to you to fill your special place in life.

Throughout my life I have searched for a long time to find out what my place is. Who am I? What am I doing here? What can I do? What do I contribute that is of value to myself and others? This search has taken me to many places, where I have constantly discovered new aspects of myself.

I made and taught art, I went to university and did research, I worked at municipalities where I fulfilled various roles. I am also a mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. All these circumstances and roles invited me to grow. This is what I want you to accomplish too.

You can be who you are

If there is anything I have received and cherish from my upbringing, it is to welcome and spread my warmth to other people. The experience that everyone was welcome. That you could be who you were.

Recently I became aware of how deeply this feeling is embedded in me. For my training in Co-Active Coaching we had to formulate our Life Purpose Statement: What is the impact you want to have? For whom? And what image is part of that?

My Life Purpose Statement appears to be fuelled by those first experiences of people who are together in ever-changing settings. The welcoming ambiance and warmth that was there for everyone. Through the conversations about life and what touches us. What I want to offer is a place where people can go. Where they can relax physically and emotionally, to reflect and to feed themselves mentally. So that they can continue on their own path through the adventure that is life.

Dorthe is empathetic, intuitive and knows exactly which method works best for you at what time. – Petra

Quality is always desired

During one of the phases in which I was looking for a new context, a wise lady encouraged me that quality always is welcomed. If you do something, do it right.

That intrigued me to continue learning all my life. I have done a multitude of courses where I learned to take what I could use and leave the rest behind. I am curious and optimistic. I am open to improving what I am able to do, open to new ways to achieve goals and valuable results with greater ease and pleasure.

Dorthe’s coaching feels safe and secure. I have the feeling that I can be myself. – Inge
